Trying to Catch Up

I am so far behind with my blog, it is embarrassing. I have no excuse.  I have been doing a lot of machine embroidery lately.  There are 12 pansy quilt blocks waiting for sashing and borders, then quilting to finish up.  I then started a free standing machine embroidered carousel for my great grand daughter for Christmas.  The individual pieces are all stitched.  Most of the sections are sewn together.  The final assembly will wait for a while as I don't have a lot of room to store the completely assembled carousel.  Pictures of both projects will follow when finished.

Now to the Magnolia cards I have made over the last many months beginning with the November birthday cards I sent out.
These went to Linda Vantassel, Nancee Purdum, Phyllis Zimmerman and Donna Celestine Ross:

Tilda Makes Blueberry Blanket

I don't remember where that pretty rose paper came from.  The ribbon and flowers were from my stash.

The cardstocks were from Stampin' Up.

Those cute sewing stamps were a free gift from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.

Tailor Tilda is busily making a special surprise for someone!  At this time I can't remember where the background paper came from.

The same stamps were used on the inside of the card.  The sentiment was computer generated.
All the flowers and ribbons used on all the cards were from the stash.

Tilda with Carrots is a fun stamp!  Reminds me of the early gardening days I had.  The designer paper was from Magnolia.

I'm back to an easel card for this one!

Here is the front.  The ribbon and flowers were from the stash.

All coloring was done with Copic markers on Cryogen White paper.  The cardstocks used are all Stampin' Up.

Tilda with Corn is another garden themed stamp.  The background paper is from Magnolia.  The ribbon and flowers were from the stash.

This is another of my favorite style card - an easel card!

The cardstock was from Stampin' Up.  The sentiment was computer generated.

Even though I am so late posting these, I hope you ladies enjoyed your special birthday cards!

Thanks so much for taking time to stop by and see the "older" birthday cards I sent out a very long time ago.

Ah, the recipients should all be thrilled with these cute cards, Kathy! Looks like you're the master of easel cards - a style that looks much beyond my expertise, as I don't have the patience! Just a great job on each and every one - thanks for sharing!
